Central Selection Board – Online Job Application Portal
1. How do I register on the portal?
The registration process is simple and fully OTP-based. Just enter your email ID or mobile number on the registration page. An OTP (One-Time Password) will be sent to the contact detail you provided. Once you verify the OTP, your registration will be completed automatically. There’s no need to set a password — you can log in using OTP every time.
2. I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
No password is required on this portal, as it uses OTP-based login. Simply enter your registered email ID or mobile number on the login page, and you’ll receive an OTP. Use the OTP to log in securely—no need to remember or reset a password.
4. Can I apply for multiple posts at the same time?
No, you cannot apply for multiple posts at the same time in a single application. However, you can apply for multiple posts separately using the same registered email or mobile number. Just log in with your existing credentials and submit separate applications for each post.
5. What documents are required during application?
Typically, you will need:
- Passport size photograph (in JPG/JPEG, max 200KB)
- Signature(in JPG/JPEG, max 100KB)
- Educational qualification certificates(PDF, max 500KB each)
- Caste certificate (if applicable)(PDF, max 500KB each)
- Experience certificate (if applicable)(PDF, max 500KB each)

6. Is there any application fee?
Yes. The fee amount varies depending on the post and applicant category. Please check the job advertisement or application form page for exact fee details.
7. How can I make the payment?
You can pay the application fee online using:
- Debit/Credit Card
- UPI
- Net Banking
All payments are secure and processed through authorized gateways.
8. I completed the form but the payment failed. What should I do?
If the payment fails but the amount is deducted, wait for 24–48 hours for auto-reversal. If the issue persists, contact support with your transaction details.
9. How do I know if my application is successfully submitted?
Once submitted, you will see a confirmation message check your Application Status from your dashboard.
10. Can I edit my application after submission?
No. Once the application is submitted and payment is made, it cannot be edited. Please double-check all information before final submission.
11. How will I receive updates regarding the recruitment?
All updates such as admit cards, examination dates, results, etc., will be notified through the portal. News Ads. You should regularly check your account and official announcements.
12. How do I download my Admit Card?
Log in to your account and navigate to the “Admit Card” section. If released, you will be able to download it using your application number or registered credentials.

14. Can I get a refund if I withdraw my application?
No. Application fees are refundable, even if you choose not to appear for the exam. Read Detail in Refund Policy.
Can I use the same contact number or email for multiple applications?
Yes. You can use the same registered email ID or mobile number to apply for multiple posts. However, each application must be submitted separately.
Can I change my registered email or phone number later?
No, once your email or mobile number is verified and registered, it cannot be changed. Please make sure to enter a valid and active contact during registration.
What happens if I enter the wrong details in the application form?
If you submit incorrect information and complete the application, you won’t be able to edit it later. It’s strongly advised to double-check all details before final submission.
Is OTP required every time I log in?
Yes. Since the portal uses an OTP-based login system, you will receive an OTP on your registered email or phone every time you want to log in. There is no need to remember a password.
Will I receive confirmation after submitting my application?
Yes. Once you submit your application and complete the payment (if applicable), you will receive a confirmation. You can also check your application status in your dashboard.
What if I don’t receive an OTP during login?
- Ensure your mobile number or email ID is correct.
- Wait for a few seconds or click “Resend OTP”.
- Check your spam folder (for email OTPs).
If the issue persists, contact the support team.
Is it mandatory to complete payment immediately after submitting the form?
Yes. Your application will only be considered successfully submitted after the payment is completed. If payment is not made, the application will remain incomplete.
What if my application status shows ‘Pending’?
‘Pending’ usually means the application has been saved but is not yet complete, often due to incomplete details or payment. Visit your dashboard, complete the necessary steps, and submit.
Can I track my application after submission?
Yes. You can log in to your portal dashboard and check the status of each application in your Dashboard” section.
What should I do if the call center is not responding?
If you’re unable to reach our call center or facing long wait times, we recommend the following alternatives:
- Email Support: Send your query to Support@Centralselectionboard.com with your name, registered contact number, and application details. Our team will respond within 24–48 working hours.
- Retry Later: Call volume is high during peak application periods. Try calling during non-peak hours (10:00 AM – 12:00 PM or 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM).
We appreciate your patience and are working to resolve all queries as quickly as possible.
Q: Can I use someone else’s card or UPI to make the payment?
Yes, you can use any valid payment method. However, make sure to save the transaction ID and keep the payment receipt.
Q: Will I get a receipt for my payment?
Yes, after successful payment, a receipt or acknowledgment will be available in your dashboard under the “My Applications” section.

1. Introduction
Welcome to Central Selection Board Online Portal (“Portal”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of our government job application portal. By registering and using this portal, you agree to abide by these terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the portal.
2. Purpose of the Portal
This portal is developed to provide a centralized platform for candidates to apply for government job vacancies. It serves as a bridge between job seekers and government agencies by facilitating online job applications, recruitment updates, and document submissions.
3. User Eligibility and Account Registration
3.1 Eligibility Criteria
To use this portal, users must:
- Be at least 18 years old or meet the minimum age required by the job notification.
- Be legally eligible to work in the BTR (Bodoland Territorial Region) where the job is posted.
- Provide accurate, complete, and verifiable personal information.
- Agree to comply with the portal’s guidelines and government recruitment rules.
- The upper age limit is relaxable as per existing Government norms.
- The age limit of the candidates will be calculated on the basis of the School/Matriculation/HSLC Admit Card and Birth Certificate issued by a recognized Board/Council/Schools or other Government Institution as applicable and notified
3.2 Registration Process
- Users must register an account using a valid email address and phone number.
- An OTP verification process is required to activate the account.
- Users must create a strong password and keep it confidential.
- Government recruiters or agencies must provide proof of authorization before posting job vacancies.
3.3 Account Responsibilities
- Users must not share their login credentials with others.
- Any unauthorized use of an account should be reported immediately.
- Users are responsible for updating their information to ensure accuracy.
- Any fraudulent use of an account may result in suspension or legal action.
- Any unauthorized access resulting from user negligence will not be the responsibility of the portal.
- Users must adhere to all deadlines and guidelines outlined in the job application process.

4. Job Application Process
4.1 How to Apply
- Users can browse job listings and apply online through the portal.
- Each job posting will specify the application deadline and required documents.
- Applications must be submitted before the deadline to be considered.
- Users may track the status of their application through the portal.
- Once submitted, applications cannot be edited or modified unless explicitly permitted.
- The user understands that any mistakes, errors, or false information submitted are solely their responsibility, and the portal will not be held liable for any consequences arising from such mistakes
4.2 Required Documents
- Users may be required to upload scanned copies of identification documents (Aadhaar, PAN, passport, etc.), educational certificates, experience letters, and category certificates (if applicable).
- Incomplete applications may be rejected by the government agency handling recruitment.
4.3 Verification Process
- All submitted documents will be verified by the concerned government department.
- Users may be required to attend physical document verification before final selection.
- Providing false or misleading information may result in legal action and permanent disqualification from applying through the portal.
5. Application Fees and Payment Terms
5.1 Payment Policy

- Payments must be made online using debit/credit cards, UPI, net banking, or other approved payment gateways.
- The payment receipt must be kept for future reference.
5.2 Refund Policy
- Application fees are non-refundable, except in the following cases:
- If the user made duplicate payments.
- If a technical error results in an incorrect deduction.
- Refunds, if applicable, will be processed within 7-14 working days.

6. Prohibited Activities
Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following activities:
- Submitting false, forged, or misleading information.
- Tampering with job postings or modifying official recruitment information.
- Hacking, phishing, or attempting to gain unauthorized access to the system.
- Disrupting portal operations through malicious software, denial-of-service attacks, or spamming.
- Impersonating government officials or other users.
- Sharing confidential job examination or recruitment details.
- Using automated tools or bots to submit job applications.
Violations of these policies may result in account suspension, reporting to law enforcement, and legal prosecution.

- Candidates who are already in Government service should produce a No Objection Certificate (NOC) through proper channels.
- Canvassing directly or indirectly shall disqualify a candidate.
- Canvassing in any form either to the Chairman or Members of the Board is strictly prohibited, and any attempt to do so shall result in immediate disqualification.
- The relaxation of upper age limits in case of ST/SC/OBC candidates and Government service employees is as per Government rules.
- The CSB, BTC reserves the right to cancel/withdraw any interview if the situation so warrants. (F) Only candidates belonging to BTC areas can apply for the mentioned posts.
- Reservation will be as per Sixth Schedule norms.
